Here are some ideas for volunteering with the Tuakau Garden and Wetlands
Do you have talents or expertise that could help promote or explore new opportunities for our wetland regeneration?
If you have a green thumb and a warm window sill you could help by germinating native seeds for our replanting programme.
You could write to our local council and local MP in support of protecting and expanding the gardens and reserve.

Do you have local stories, history or experiences you would like to share about the Tuakau area that could enrich the communities appreciation of the garden and wetland spaces?
Are you able to provide knowledge and expertise on water care, biodiversity, ecology, native flora and fauna or sustainability so we can create resources about the wetlands to help local schools engage with this space as an outdoor classroom?
